Performance Distributors Racing D.U.I. Distributor is capable of turning 9000 RPMas. Thatas almost double the output of a stock H.E.I.! Years of engineering experience and modern technology allowed Performance Distributors to develop a high voltage coil and high dwell module that would turn the high revas needed for todayas racing engines. No external spark boxes or coils are needed as Performance Distributors race coil and module fit inside the distributor for an easy drop-in installation with a one wire hookup. This is the only magnetically triggered, self-contained (internal coil and module) distributor available that will spin 9000 RPMas! The Performance Distributors Racing D.U.I. Coil allows spark plug gaps to be opened up to .055a and the increased dwell in the Performance Distributors Dyna-Module makes the coil produce a longer duration spark. The combination of these two components produces an intense spark that is unmatched by stock HEIas and other aperformancea ignition systems, particularly those using the external spark boxes. The result is a more complete burn of the fuel mixture for more horsepower. For computer-controlled engines, the Performance Distributors GM Computer Distributor this is the replacement distributor you need with the 7 pin Dyna-Module and 50,000 volt Street / Strip DUI coil built inside the distributor. Performance Distributors Ford D.U.I. (Davis Unified Ignition) is the original one-piece ignition system for Fords! The coil is inside the cap and the module is inside the distributor. Just run one 12 volt hot wire to the distributor and you're ready to run! There is also an optional tach hook-up.
